Cornerstone Café, located on level 3 of the Vicki Sara 'Science' Building, corner of Jones and Thomas streets, Ultimo, NSW 2007

The Cornerstone Café has a relaxed and welcoming vibe with tables inside and out. Open for breakfast and lunch, it offers a diversity of freshly made options including salads, sandwiches, burgers and wraps, as well as coffee, muffins and snacks.

Gotcha Fresh Tea offers a selection of freshly brewed handcrafted teas, collagen teas and milk teas.

Mad Mex offers freshly made Mexican food including nachos, tacos, burritos, quesadillas and ensaladas (Mexican style salads), including breakfast burritos from 10am. Churros and other Latin-style desserts are also available to hit the sweet spot.

Known for their authentic Malaysian hawker food, PappaRich bring their trademark roti, rice and noodle dishes to UTS, as well as Malaysian snacks and dumplings. Open Monday to Friday for lunch and dinner.

Penny Lane, located on level 1 of the Engineering and IT Building, 81-117 Broadway, Ultimo, NSW 2007

Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, Penny Lane Bar and Café is located in the mezzanine level of UTS's striking new Engineering and IT Building. There's something for everyone on the breakfast menu, while burgers and pizzas are available from lunch till late, along with a range of other lunch options and a bar menu served from 3pm onwards. Penny Lane can also cater for a range of functions large and small.

The Stock Market menu includes pasta, soups and build-your-own salads, all made from fresh seasonal produce. Freshly-squeezed juices, espresso coffee, tea and hot chocolate are also available from early in the day.

Sushi World offers sushi rolls, sushi boxes and other quick and healthy Japanese dishes like dumplings, noodles, rice bowls and tempura. The drinks menu includes hot green tea, coconut water and kombucha.

Serving healthy and fresh Poke bowls, smoothies, acai bowls, juices, smoothies and more.

The Little Roaster espresso bar offers a breakfast menu, including café staples like toast, bacon and egg rolls, and pastries, as well as sandwiches, salads and lunch bowls later in the day. It's run by the team who operate the Universal Cafe in Building 6.

Cafe80, located on levels 2 and 3 of the Dr Chau Chak Wing Building, 14 Ultimo Road, Ultimo, NSW 2007

With its striking Frank Gehry-designed polished stainless steel bar, modern Mediterranean-inspired menu and liquor licence, Cafe80 (on level 2) is a popular option for evening get-togethers, but it's open for lunch and boutique roaster coffee too. Cafe80's level 3 sandwich bar off The Goods Line entry is integrated into the student lounge and handy for quick and tasty snacks. Catering is also available.

The UTS Haberfield Rowing Club is owned and run by ActivateUTS. Situated on Iron Cove Bay, it's home to a fully licenced bar and restaurant open to the public, as well as facilities for the UTS Rowing Club.

The Ross Milbourne Sports Hall (CB04B) is an underground facility located beneath Alumni Green and adjacent to the ActivateFit.Gym (CB04.02). 

The Sports Hall comprises an indoor sports court and connecting tutorial and change rooms. A gym and a dance studio are located on a mezzanine level above the court.

The sports hall and associated facilities can be booked for free by UTS students and staff, UTS Insearch students, and members of UTS sports and social clubs. Find out more at the ActivateUTS website.

ActivateFit.Gym is open to staff, students and the general community. Entry from 745 Harris St.

Facilities at the centre include a state-of-the-art cardio theatre, an extensive range of weight training equipment, and multi-purpose spaces for group exercise classes and circuit training, including yoga, pilates, boxing and martial arts. UTS chaplains offer students and staff pastoral care – emotional and/or spiritual support - according to their needs and requirements. UTS chaplains are available to assist students and staff with a variety of challenges and problems, including homesickness, bereavement, loneliness and spirituality.

The Jumbunna Institute for Indigenous Education and Research provides cultural and academic support services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students at UTS.

Jumbunna also promotes Australian Indigenous culture, history and philosophy across the university, and nurtures and develops Indigenous research and Indigenous researchers. The Jumbunna research arm produces high quality research on Indigenous legal and policy issues, and develops highly skilled Indigenous researchers.

The Equity and Diversity Unit promotes social inclusion and widening participation initiatives at UTS, including:
